Our Vision for Learning:
A campus deeply engaged with learning; an institution that promotes leadership through building character, scholarship, culture, and service; a university that dynamically transforms the lives of the students who come here.
Who We Are:

Our Mansfield University Focus on Learning Forum is committed to achieving our vision for engagement with learning. We are an open forum that includes students, faculty, and staff dedicated to the improvement of learning at Mansfield. Our work began in Spring 2003 with a charge from President Halstead and is continuing. We have built a learning model and action plan for Mansfield University. Our planning document (PDF format: 177k– Revised May 2004) may be downloaded.

Additional documents summarize our Learning Forum discussions and will periodically be posted here. The first document describes what we expect from our students. Future documents will describe our values as a community of learners and our shared expectations for members of the faculty and academic departments.
