Alumni Weekend 2015
Mark your calendar to join friends and former classmates on campus June 12 and 13 for Alumni Weekend 2015! Honored guests will include the Class of 1965, Society of Honors inductees, and retired faculty and staff. Friday's events include a golf tournament, a networking cocktail hour, LobsterFest and a band. Saturday offers class meetings and photos, the Society of Honors Luncheon, vow renewal for alumni couples (aka "Mansfield Mergers"), a game night hosted by the Alumni Board, and much more! MU on the Road, Scranton Pa!
The alumni at this event said, "there ain't no party, like a Mansfield party...in Scranton!" Over 45 alumni and friends gathered at Mert's Pub in Scranton on April 18th. The evening was filled with fun, food, friends, raffles, and live music from the Jeffrey James Band. Marirose Murphy '79 and Lisa Chipak Spangenberg '81 assisted in hosting the event. Donna Congdon Mokrzyinski '55 and Don Stanton '53 graciously hosted the annual Alumni and Friends Sarasota event again this year! Over 40 alumni and friends met up at the University Park Country Club on Saturday, March 7th for lunch and reminiscing. President, Fran Hendricks '79, Brig Gen USAF (Retired), was on hand to greet guests, and presented the Presidential Coin of Excellence to select alumni (view press release here) and click here to view pictures from the event!

Major Brian Dix '82 Instrumental Scholarship
Major Dix '82 retired as commander from the United States Marine Drum and Bugle Corps in December of 2014. Bernard and Erna Bridge decided to establish a scholarship in recognition of his dedicated service as commander from 1998 - 2014. Read more on this new scholarship here.
Volunteer First Responders Scholarship Fund
The Tioga County Board of Commissioners recently established a Volunteer First Responders Scholarship Fund with the Mansfield University Foundation. Volunteer first responders residing in Tioga County, who are enrolled in a qualified academic program at MU are eligible to apply. The Mansfield University Department of Political Science is pleased to announce the establishment of the Albert Dalmolen Memorial Scholarship Endowment, which will provide scholarship assistance for Political Science majors on the basis of academic merit, community involvement and financial need. Camps & Programs
Northern Tier Camp Cadet provides youth with a police academy style atmosphere and emphasizes self discipline. This exciting residential camp is held for the 12-13 year old range. Learn more about this June 2015 camp here.
