University Advancement

The Mansfield University Advancement Division builds relationships with alumni, friends and the community. Our goal is to increase resources and revenues that help support the University's strategic direction, as a liberal arts based institution dedicated to scholarship, character, culture, service, and leadership.

Alumni Weekend 2015
Mark your calendar to join friends and former classmates on campus June 12 and 13 for Alumni Weekend 2015! Honored guests will include the Class of 1965, Society of Honors inductees, and retired faculty and staff. Friday's events include a golf tournament, a networking cocktail hour, LobsterFest and a band. Saturday offers class meetings and photos, the Society of Honors Luncheon, vow renewal for alumni couples (aka "Mansfield Mergers"), a game night hosted by the Alumni Board, and much more! Sunny Sarasota!
Donna Congdon Mokryzinski '55 and Don Stanton '53 graciously hosted the annual Alumni and Friends Sarasota event again this year! Over 40 alumni and friends met up at the University Park Country Club on Saturday, March 7th for lunch and reminiscing.  President, Fran Hendricks '79, Brig Gen USAF (Retired), was on hand to greet guests, and presented the Presidential Coin of Excellence to select alumni (view press release here) and click here to view pictures from the event!

MU on the Road to Shippensburg!
Alumni and friends cheered on the Mounties men's and women's basketball teams as they took on the Shippensburg Raiders on January 10, 2015.  A post game gathering was held at Knute's Pub, which included a buffet and door prizes. View pictures from this regional event here!

Volunteer First Responders Scholarship Fund
The Tioga County Board of Commissioners recently established a Volunteer First Responders Scholarship Fund with the Mansfield University Foundation.  Volunteer first responders residing in Tioga County, who are enrolled in a qualified academic program at MU are eligible to apply.  For more information on the scholarship, and the first recipients of the award, please visit this website.

In Memory of Dr. Albert Dalmolen
The Mansfield University Department of Political Science is pleased to announce the establishment of the Albert Dalmolen Memorial Scholarship Endowment, which will provide scholarship assistance for Political Science majors on the basis of academic merit, community involvement and financial need. For more information on contributing to this endowment, click here.

Jerry Mattis Scholarship Fund
Jerry '64 played football at Mansfield and became the team's Captain his senior year. He was known by many as a leader by example both on and off the field. As the 50th Class year reunion approaches for those graduating in 1964, Jerry's friends and family decided to remember him in a special way, through a memorial scholarship. Learn More About Camp Cadet
Northern Tier Camp Cadet provides youth with a police academy style atmosphere and emphasizes self discipline.  This exciting residential camp is held for the 12-13 year old range.  Learn more about this June 2015 camp here.
