The Mansfield University Advancement Division builds relationships with alumni, friends and the community. Our goal is to increase resources and revenues that help support the University's strategic direction, as a liberal arts based institution dedicated to scholarship, character, culture, service, and leadership.

Homecoming - All Roads Lead Home!
Mansfield University and the Greater Mansfield Community combined efforts to host the Fabulous 1890's Weekend and Homecoming 2015, as this year's theme was All Roads Lead Home.  To read more about the weekend of activities including the annual, Athletic Hall of Fame Induction Reception and Dinner, click here.  Also, to view pictures from the entire weekend of events, visit this site.
Alumni Weekend 2015
Over 400 friends and former classmates gathered on campus June 12-14 for Alumni Weekend 2015! Honored guests included the Class of 1965, Society of Honors inductees, and retired faculty and staff. Friday's events included a golf tournament, a networking cocktail hour, LobsterFest and a band. Saturday offered class meetings and photos, the Society of Honors Luncheon, vow renewal for alumni couples (aka "Mansfield Mergers"), a game night hosted by the Alumni Board, and much more!  Click here to view photos from the weekend!

MU on the Road, Scranton Pa!
The alumni at this event said, "there ain't no party, like a Mansfield Scranton!"  Over 45 alumni and friends gathered at Mert's Pub in Scranton on April 18th.  The evening was filled with fun, food, friends, raffles, and live music from the Jeffrey James Band.  Marirose Murphy '79 and Lisa Chipak Spangenberg '81 assisted in hosting the event.  Check back for pictures soon!

Major Brian Dix '82 Instrumental Scholarship
Major Dix '82 retired as commander from the United States Marine Drum and Bugle Corps in December of 2014.  Bernard and Erna Bridge decided to establish a scholarship in recognition of his dedicated service as commander from 1998 - 2014.  Read more on this new scholarship here.

Volunteer First Responders Scholarship Fund
The Tioga County Board of Commissioners recently established a Volunteer First Responders Scholarship Fund with the Mansfield University Foundation.  Volunteer first responders residing in Tioga County, who are enrolled in a qualified academic program at MU are eligible to apply.  For more information on the scholarship, and the first recipients of the award, please visit this website.

In Memory of Dr. Albert Dalmolen
The Mansfield University Department of Political Science is pleased to announce the establishment of the Albert Dalmolen Memorial Scholarship Endowment, which will provide scholarship assistance for Political Science majors on the basis of academic merit, community involvement and financial need. Camps & Programs

Rock Climbing Clinic
MU is hosting it's first Rock Climbing Clinic, which will be held December 9 - January 13.  This six week program is held for children 10 years and older, and utilizes the campus fitness center climbing wall.  For more information and to register, please visit this site.

Learn More About Camp Cadet
Northern Tier Camp Cadet provides youth with a police academy style atmosphere and emphasizes self discipline.  This exciting residential camp is held for the 12-13 year old range.  Learn more about this popular, annual camp here slated for June 2016.
