Music Camps

Brass Band Camp

Campers participate in an intensive four-day brass band experience while performing brass band repertoire. Activities include master classes, sectionals, and chamber ensembles.  Click here to learn more.

Clarinet Camp

Clarinet campers, ages 12 – 18, will participate in a clarinet playing intensive camp from Tuesday evening to Saturday morning. The camp culminates in a demonstration performance for parents, family and friends on Saturday, 11:00 a.m.  Click here to learn more.

Flute Camp 

Campers participate in several intensive days of flute study, from Sunday afternoon to Thursday evening. The camp culminates in a demonstration performance for parents, family and friends on Thursday, 7:00 p.m.  Click here to learn more.

Oboe & Bassoon Camp

Sunday, June 18-Thursday, July 2, 2015. Oboe and Bassoon Campers, ages 13-18, will participate in several intensive days of instruction and chamber music, including Double Reed Choir.  The camp is open to junior high and high school age oboe and bassoon players.  Click here to learn more.

Percussion Camp

Campers participate in six days of intensive percussion fun with instruction that includes solos, duets, quartets, and percussion ensembles including some Drum Line, Drum Set, Steel Pan, Mexican Marimba Ensemble and Percussion Ensemble. Core topics include developing techniques and musicianship on snare drum and multi-percussion, drum set, mallet percussion, timpani, repertoire, sight-reading, listening, and ensemble performance.  Click here to learn more.

Saxophone Camp

Campers participate in intensive days of saxophone instruction that include solos, duets, quartets, and saxophone choir. Core topics including auditioning, technique, tone, reeds and other equipment, repertoire, sight-reading, doubling, jazz, listening, teaching and learning. Click here to learn more.

Youth Music Camp

Youth Music Camp is designed for musical exploration, experimentation, growth, and fun for musicians of a variety of ability and interest levels. Activities include individual attention in small groups, performance of a musical, recitals, recreational programs as well as band, orchestra, and choral experiences. Click here to learn more.
