New Student Orientation

Posted by Andee Dunham for April 3, 2013

The spring semester is underway with a number of fun and exciting things which include New Student Orientation!

Student Affairs in conjunction with several different constituents across campus have put together an exciting New Student Orientation program for our students.

We welcome your assistance with Orientation, here’s how you can help us:

1. Please review the agenda so that you can better assist our incoming students. The agenda can be found along the right hand side of the following web page: http://www2.mansfield.edu/orientation/
2. Dig out the “Questions? Ask Me” button/pin and wear it for Orientation this will allow our students and their families to identify you as a Mansfield University employee.
3. Wear your red and black, welcome everyone and say “GO MOUNTIES” to our new students more than once throughout the day!
4. Mark your calendar for the upcoming Orientation Dates: April 6th, April 20th, May 4th, May 11th, June 22nd, June 27th, June 29th and August 3rd.

Orientation is a fantastic opportunity to meet our incoming students and their families to make them feel at home as they transition into Mansfield University.

If you do not have a button and are willing to wear one please contact me directly and I can forward one along to you.

Thank you in advance for your willingness to participate and make the students’ transition to Mansfield University successful.

The journey begins at the base of the mountain...It is our mission, through New Student Orientation and New Student Welcome, to provide our MOUNTAINEERS, the tools, resources, and support necessary to make your voyage to the summit successful.
