For the first year seminar The Story of Stuff class project, one group created a Facebook page where Mansfield University students and extended community can trade or sell their used “stuff” to others who are in need of it. Not only will this page save students money, it will also reduce the amount of “stuff” that gets thrown into the dumpsters, which in turn saves the University money on waste management services. Go to the Mansfield University Online Trading Outpost, "like" the page to receive updates from the Administrators, check on what items are available, and share this page with your local friends on Facebook. Help us to make Mansfield University a less wasteful campus!
Mansfield University is a community in the best sense of the word. We look out for each other. We push ourselves to dream big. We work hard to achieve success. We care. Mansfield welcomed its first student in 1857 – and to this day, the University continues to seek and serve students with big dreams for their futures.
