New Student Orientation

Posted by Andee Dunham for January 14, 2013

The start of the semester begins with a number of fun and exciting things including New Student Orientation!

Student Affairs, in conjunction with several different constituents across campus, host New Student Orientation for our students as they return to campus for their first time as new Mountaineers for the spring semester.  We welcome your assistance with the January 25th Orientation; here’s how you can help us:

1.      Please review the agenda so that you can better assist our incoming students.  The agenda can be found by clicking:  http://www2.mansfield.edu/orientation/upload/Proposed-Orientation-Agenda-2013.pdf
2.      Dig out the “Questions? Ask Me” button/pin that was distributed to you in August and wear it on January 25, 2013 so our students and their families can easily identify you as a Mansfield University employee.
3.      Wear your red and black, welcome everyone and say “GO MOUNTIES” to our new students more than once throughout the day!

Orientation is a fantastic opportunity to meet our incoming students and their families, and to make them feel at home as they transition into their first semester at Mansfield University.

If you do not have a button and are willing to wear one please contact me directly and I can forward one along to you.

Thank you in advance for your willingness to participate and make the students’ transition to Mansfield University successful.
