Developing Tomorrow's Leaders

The faculty jazz trio will present a workshop on playing in a rhythm section on Friday, January 25 from 1-5 PM in BC 136. Dr. Jacobsen will present bass fundamentals of building bass lines and improvisation. Dr. Adam Brennan will play drum set and talk about playing various jazz styles. Hanako Henty - undergraduate pianist with the jazz ensemble - will talk about jazz voicings, comping, and improvisation. This workshop is free and open to the public.
