Students,
Welcome back!
There are three parking lots which are temporarily effected due to the construction of the new residence halls. Due to the critical timing and sequencing of erecting these building via modular construction methods, our contractor is using these lots to store the modular units as they arrive on campus until they are integrated into the structure.
The affected lots are:
“E Lot” along PA Route 6 – closed to all traffic and parking; EMTA bus stop not in service
“C Lot” (both sections) next to Shaute Baseball Field – closed to all parking, open to thru traffic
“A Lot” between Spaulding Field Hockey Field and Hickory Hall – a portion closed to parking, open to thru traffic
Please observe and obey all signage for these lots. Traffic may be slowed or stopped at times during movement of these large, cumbersome modular units. We have almost three hundred units to place into the buildings so the turn over within these lots will be continual.
We appreciate your patience and understanding of this temporary but necessary inconvenience.
Be careful, be safe. Best wishes for a successful spring semester.
