"At Mansfield University, we develop leaders. We accomplish this by focusing on the four core values that have been our tradition since 1912: Character, Scholarship, Culture, and Service."
Here what our graduates have to say about our program.
I want to thank you for the time you spent with me on the phone concerning the politics in nursing education. I found the information you gave me very helpful and it is no surprise that you are still available to me even after graduation. Your dedication to the students is quite remarkable.
I would also like to take a moment to share with you how much I cherish my education at Mansfield University. When I first received my acceptance into the school I was so scared that I would not be able to complete the program. My first class was with Jane. How perfect. She was so patient with me as I tried to figure out how to maneuver through the online class and encouraged me with every phone call I made to her. She was so encouraging with her comments on my papers and instilled a confidence me. Then I had you. You were tough, Janeen, but in a gentle way. I knew I had to get APA format down. I really struggled with it but in the end I knew that I had really earned my grade (89...darn so close to an A). Each instructor has contributed to my desire to learn more and was available to me each step of the way. I really worked very hard and earned every grade I received (graduated with a 3.9). I am very grateful for my education there and feel that it has prepared me for the world of nursing education.
You might find it interesting that I am working on publishing my capstone. You might recall that I did a study on nurse educators' beliefs and attitudes on complementary and alternative therapies and the barriers to implementing into nursing curricula. I will keep you updated on the progress of this endeavor.
With heartfelt gratitude
