Spring recruitment is open,  if you're interested in becoming a leader:

  • Understand the qualifications - Students much have the following qualifications and skills to become an Orientation Leader: you must be a current MU student, possess excellent verbal skills, ability to interact professionally with peers, faculty, staff, and parents, excellent organizational skills, a working knowledge of word processing: spread sheet, data bases and email/scheduling programs, basic knowledge campus involvement, basic knowledge of MU history

  • Be familiar with the dates you must work and be available for if hired:
    • January 20, 2017 (For those starting in the Spring semester)
Spring/Summer:
    • April 21-22, 2017
    • April 28-29, 2017
    • May 5-6, 2017
    • June 3, 2017 (Transfers only)
    • July 11-12, 2017
    • July 14-15, 2017
    • July 22-23, 2017
    • August 5, 2017 (Transfers only)
    • August 23, 2017
  • Application process:
    • Understand the qualifications and employment dates
    • Complete an Orientation Leader application
      • First Application deadline: November 22, 2016 (For the January Orientation session)
      • Second Application deadline:  January 13, 2017 (For the Spring/Summer Orientation sessions)
    • Complete a personal interview
