Summary of Events

On or about the above date, time and location a University Police Officer was investigating an unrelated matter when they detected the heavy odor of cigarette smoke emanating from a nearby room. Contact was made with the occupants of the room in question. The smoke detector in the room was found to have been tampered in that it had been covered with a large washcloth. Bey did not have identification on his person and provide police with a false name. Bey has been referred to the campus judicial officer for providing false ID, tampering with fire equipment, and violating the campus smoking policy. Burrell has been referred to the campus judicial officer for tampering with fire equipment and violating the campus smoking policy.
