The Co-curricular Involvement Transcript will allow you as Mansfield University student to keep “On-Line” an in-depth record of your awards, major accomplishments, and out-of-class activities while you matriculate as an undergraduate student. A tangible benefit for using this on-line co-curricular transcript program is that it will make readily available information that can assist you in the preparation of documents needed to give you an edge in obtaining employment, an internship, volunteer or elected position, and a study abroad opportunity, acceptance to a graduate or post graduate school, and exploring and securing career opportunities. This easy to use, easy to update, on-line co-curricular transcript program allows you to record all of your out-of-classroom experiences, such as, club and organization memberships, intramurals, sports teams, extra-curricular program attendance, seminars, workshops, conferences, leadership positions, on-campus jobs, diversity experiences, community service projects, volunteerism, academic and non academic awards, and Greek life participation. The Mountaineer Leadership Program (MLP) is a structured leadership development program that reflects our Creed of Values. With its guiding principles of Character, Scholarship, Culture, and Service, our Creed is the foundation for the Mountaineer Leadership Program. Aside from ensuring recognition for student's achievements, the goal of MLP is to make available co-curricular programs that assist students in acquiring focused leadership knowledge and skills in a coordinated and incremental learning manner. (Click here for more information on the Mountaineer Leadership Program.)
The Passport to the Mansfield Creed is designed to be a creative physical document that encourages students to record their intellectual curricular and interpersonal co-curricular activities in regard to character, scholarship, culture, service, diversity, leadership and wellness; and to promote diversity of thought and culture with conscious and sensitive educational opportunities in conjunction with a shared understanding of diversity. Each academic advisor will be encouraged to monitor the progress of each of their advisees and make recommendations for acknowledgements and awards to be given to those students that complete the Passport over the course of their undergraduate program.
