Course Description: Designed to develop the skills of students who need to strengthen their reading and study skills to the level necessary to handle the demands of college level work. Emphasis will be placed on comprehension skills as summarizing, outlining, critical questioning, using study aids in texts, text marking, annotating, and creating individualized study tools; study skills such as goal setting, organizational management, time management, and vocabulary building, will also be included.
