Planned gifts are pledges to provide the Mansfield University Foundation with a donation at some future time.
These gifts provide the resources that create extraordinary opportunities and preserve the University’s future and at the same time can help you meet your other financial objectives.
Planned gifts can reduce current income taxes through a charitable deduction, increase retirement income through a retained income stream, and address your financial obligations while providing assistance to Mansfield University. You may also consider making a planned gift in honor of a family member, friend, professor, mentor, or any person of your choosing.
There are several ways to arrange planned giving, including naming Mansfield University Foundation as the beneficiary of a: will, trust, IRA, retirement plan or life insurance policy. To obtain more information on The Legacy Society click here.
For more information on your options for making a planned gift, please contact Mindy Engel, Director of Development at 570.662.4296 or mengel@mansfield.edu.

Mansfield University is a community in the best sense of the word. We look out for each other. We push ourselves to dream big. We work hard to achieve success. We care. Mansfield welcomed its first student in 1857 – and to this day, the University continues to seek and serve students with big dreams for their futures.
