Our mission is to increase persistence and graduation rates by offering qualifying students with academic, personal, and transition support services.
Student Support Services (SSS) program is one of three TRiO programs originally funded under the Higher Education Act of 1965 whose objective is to help students overcome class, social and cultural barriers to complete their college education. Funded by the U.S. Department of Education, SSS is committed to helping low-income, first-generation college students and students with disabilities achieve a bachelor's degree. Since its inception, the TRiO program has grown and there are currently eight programs funded by the Federal TRiO grant.
