AAC proposes the following change in the IM2000 General Education Proposal

Delete ENG 100 Introduction to Women's Studies from Block 2 Languages & Literature.

Add WS 100 Introduction to Women's Studies to Block 1 Humanities.

Rationale:

Pending presidential approval, the prefix of this course will be changed from ENG to WS to reflect the interdisciplinary nature of the course. In the opinion of the Women's Studies Steering Committee and the Academic Affairs Committee, this course better addresses the Student Learning Outcomes of the Humanities block than the Languages & Literature block.
