The Art department has requested the following curricular actions:

#1 Action: Course Deletion: ART 3396
Rationale: Being replaced by Multicultural Crafts

#2 Action: Course Change: ART 2201
Purpose: To change the level of the course because it is not a foundation course. To keep it in line with the grade level it should be taken in.

Old Number ART 2201
New Number ART 3301

Course Description: Introduction to the methods, techniques, and approaches of the oil painter. Emphasis is placed on composition, application, and involvement in creative self-expression. The understanding and use of the media for solving problems of representation is stressed.
