This is a bulletin from the Academic Affairs Committee concerning proposed curriculum actions. Within the next 10 days, please forward any comments or concerns to the AAC Chair, Helen Biblehimer, Elliott Hall 203, ext. 4521, hbiblehi@mnsfld.edu.

The Department of Languages and Literature has requested the following curricular actions:

#1 Action: Program Change: English B.A.
Rationale for change: Languages and Literature proposes to reduce the B.A. in English from 128 hours to 120 hours in order to meet the state mandate.
List all changes:
Delete eight hours of free electives.

#2 Action: Program Change: BSE Spanish
Rationale for change: To meet the mandated 120 credit hours requirement
List all changes:

• Reduce degree requirement from 128 to 120 S.H.
• Move SPA 2201 Intermediate Spanish I to the general education electives block
• Move ED 2205 Educational Psychology to the social science block of general education
• Delete PSY 3290 and 3321 from the social science block of general education

#3 Action: Program Change: BSE French
Rationale for change: To meet the mandated 120 credit hours requirement
List all changes:

• Reduce degree requirement from 128 to 120 S.H.
• Move FR 2201 Intermediate French I to the general education electives block
• Move ED 2205 Educational Psychology to the social science block of general education
• Delete PSY 3290 and 3321 from the social science block of general education

List all changes:
