The Department of Business and Economics has requested the following curricular actions:

# 1 Action:
Program Change: Business and Economics

Rationale for change:
MA 170 Fundamentals of Calculus is currently an additional math requirement in the math block of general education. This placement increases the general education requirements of Business majors from 55 to 58 hours.. Moving MA 170 to the general education electives would bring the general education requirement in line with the rest of the university.

List all changes:
Move MA 170 Fundamentals of Calculus from Math block in general education to
General Education electives for all Business Administration emphasis, Accounting
Management, Marketing, International, General or no emphasis

# 2 Action:
Program Change: Business and Economics

Rationale for change:

1. Emphasize issues related to business and managerial leadership,
2. Include more management related courses in order to provide students more choices, and
3. Enhance the flexibility of the management concentration.

List all changes:
Include BUS 3325-Business Leadership to the major related electives; and add the following courses to management electives: BUS 3302, BUS 3321, BUS 4450, ECO 4485, PSY 3325, TRT 3350.
