The Psychology Department has requested the following curricular actions:

Course Change: PSY 1151 Introduction to Applications of Psychology

Purpose and nature of change:
Change the Name of PSY 1151 to more accurately reflect the content and purpose of the course, which is to prepare students for success in the psychology major.
New Course Title: Psychology First-Year Seminar
Co-requisites: PSY 1101

Course Change: PSY 1191 Introduction to Research Methods in Psychology

Purpose and nature of change:
Realignment of course numbering to support the appropriate level and sequence for psychology majors.
New Number: 2206

Course Change: PSY 2250 Experimental Design I

Purpose and nature of change:
Realignment of course numbering to support the appropriate level and sequence for psychology majors.
New Number: 3306

Realignment of course numbering to support the appropriate level and sequence for psychology majors.
New Number: 3304
