New admission policy for MSN students

Masters of Sciences in Nursing (MSN)

Admission prerequisites for ALL students admitted to MSN program
o RN licensure
o Bachelors of Science in Nursing degree or other bachelors degree.
o Completion of the following courses at the baccalaureate or higher level
o Research
o Community Health Nursing
o Pathophysiology/Pharmacology (minimum of 3 credits)
o Health (or Physical) Assessment

o 3.0 or higher cumulative GPA on 4.0 scale
o Official transcripts of all undergraduate and graduate work completed at any institution.
o Official transcripts from basic nursing program.
o One professional letter of recommendation indicating student’s ability to do graduate level work.
o Application fee of $25
