Curricular Action Notice: Department of Education & Special Education

ED/ELE 5571

Purpose and Nature of Course: To provide advanced instruction and professional support for individuals who have previously completed a National Writing Project Summer Institute.

Course Title: Endless Mountains Writing Project Advanced Institute
Credits: 3 (Graduate)
To repeat for additional credit (not repeat of previously earned grade), maximum hours of credit that may be earned over multiple Semesters: 6 semester hours.
Course Description for Catalog: Advanced inquiry into the role of the teacher as writer, researcher, change agent and professional leader. Enrollment is by invitation; prior application and interview are required, as is documented completion of a National Writing Project Summer Institute.
Prerequisites: Successful completion of a National Writing Project Summer Institute at an NWP-approved site.
