Course Description for Catalog (limit to four sentences):
The practicum in fisheries provides an internship experience which
gives students the opportunity to apply knowledge and skills in
the fisheries or aquatic biology sciences while working with a public
or private agency involved in aspects of applied biology. The practical
experience thus acquired both supplements and reinforces the more
academic aspects of biology stressed in the classroom.
