In consultation with the supervising faculty member, the student is expected to document work experience and have positive performance evaluation from immediate supervisor.

30 credits earned. All practicum credits are considered free electives May be taken for 1 to 5 credits.

Course Description for Catalog (limit to four sentences):
A link between the classroom and accounting experience on the job, the internship provides qualified students a three way arrangement among the professor-advisor, the employer and the student-employee. Students may obtain appropriate internship employment on their own or in conjunction with the internship advisor. May be taken for 6 to 15 credits. One 40-hour work period is required for each semester hour of credit for which the course is taken.
