Oral health is a major health issue for both adults and children in Tioga
County, particularly for those with less education and lower incomes. The
Tioga County Partnership for Community Health, through the
Kids First Work
Group and Tioga Dental Services are working hard to improve and promote oral health. These efforts are described in detail in the
report Oral Health in Tioga County, PA, and
corresponding fact sheet, both
published in November 2004.
