Your Future in Criminal Justice
The Criminal Justice Administration (CJA) Program at Mansfield University offers degree options in the academic and professional disciplines of criminal justice and criminology that will prepare you for entry into either a professional career or a graduate education in criminal justice. We offer a bachelor's degree, an associate's degree offered on campus and online, and our partnership with the Municipal Police Academy means you can earn your degree and your Act 120 Certification. The program encourages extra-curricular activities that provide opportunities for students to develop leadership skills which includes national clubs and organizations along with special events with the program. The program's core curriculum covers areas such as law enforcement, courts, corrections and juvenile delinquency.
In January, fourteen members of the Mansfield University chapter of Lambda Alpha Epsilon (LAE), the American Criminal Justice Association, traveled to Allenwood, Pennsylvania for a tour of Federal Correctional Complex Allenwood. The students spent three hours on a tour guided by facility staff. LAE is an active organization on campus with LAE members participating in community service, fund raising, and professional events.
