If you don't see the little “eye” icon next to the final grade, the final grade has not been released and students will not see their final grade, instead, they will see a message indicating that their final grade has not been released.

To release final grades manually, go into the Grades area and click on the Enter Grades icon (ruler with a check mark) next to Final Grades.

Here you will find a column where you can release final grades individually by clicking the check box for each student or you can release them all by clicking the check box at the top of the farthest left column and clicking on the eyeball icon. You can also “unrelease” final grades by removing the check from the box for individual students or for the whole class (checking the top box and then clicking on the eyeball icon).
