Posting or Answering Discussion questions (Grid Style View)
How do I post questions onto the discussion board?
These instructions are for the Grid Style view. You will only be able to Post a discussion question or Answer a posting if your instructor has created a discussion Forum & Topic. From within your course:
- Click on Discussions.
- If your instructor has created a Discussion Forum & Topic, you will see a click-able link that opens the Discussion Topic.
To Read/Reply:
- Click the appropriate Topic link to open the Discussion.
- Click on the underlined Subject to read or reply to a post.
- Once you have opened a posting, click the Reply button to open the reply window.

> . - To attach a file to your reply Click the Add a File.

Click on the Post button on the lower right corner
- NOTE: If you don't click the post button the message won't be submitted.
To Post:
- Click the appropriate Topic link to open the Discussion.
- Click on the Compose button.
- Enter your information into the subject and the body in the lower box.
- To attach a file to your post click the Add a File.

To Edit:
- Click the appropriate Topic link to open the Discussion.
- Click on the subject line.
- Click on Edit Message.
- Make your changes to your post.
- Click on the Save button.
To Delete:
- Click the appropriate Topic link to open the Discussion.

Select the checkbox next to the post you want to delete.
- NOTE: Students can only delete their own post.
- Click the trash can icon.
- Click on the Yes button on the Confirmation warning.
