Please join us for the last Academy Series program of the semester on April 18th in 105 Retan Center from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m.  Source4Teachers a program that works with training and recruting substitute teachers will be sharing. 

An Academy Series event - Key Issues in Special Education with Mr. Dan Fie, Director of Student Services for Northern Tioga School District was held on February 21st. Mr. Fie spoke about Special Education Law, significant related court cases and provided helpful suggestions to ensure that our pre-service teachers adhere to the federal and state laws when they begin their teaching careers. Twenty-five education majors and faculty attended the event.

Academy Series

For our March 2017 Academy Series we had the Tioga County Child and Youth Services present The DEC 'Drug Endangered Children' Approach and Putting Kids First.  This informative session was enjoyed by all with hopes to have them come back again.

Summer Reading Camp 'Rise of the Reader' where 6 of our Graduate Student in the Reading Specialists Program completed their summer practicum.  The camp participants were able to enjoy President Hendricks reading to them in North Hall.

Alumni Spotlight
