What is ESP?
Mansfield’s ESP (Early Start Program) allows qualified high school students to take Mansfield University courses – in online, hybrid, or face-to-face formats – and earn college credits while still enrolled in high school.

New Pricing for 2019-2020!
Students in Mansfield’s ESP program enjoy a significantly reduced tuition rate. Beginning with the Fall 2019 semester, the cost of tuition is just $50 per credit for PA residents and $60 per credit for NY and all other non-PA residents. Please note that in addition to tuition, students are responsible for acquiring the necessary required materials, such as textbooks, for each course.
Which Courses Can I Take?
The appropriate courses are determined collaboratively by the university and the participating school districts. Courses from a variety of disciplines are offered. Please note that registration is on a space-available basis. View our available courses:

How Do I Qualify for ESP?
Local school districts identify students who are ready for college-level work. When applying to the program, students will need to submit a high school transcript and a letter of recommendation from a guidance counselor.
