The Associate of Science Program in Computer Information Systems is designed to focus on the system and business aspects of computing.
Completion of the Computer Information Systems Program prepares students with a strong foundation in the liberal arts, which strengthens writing, speaking, and critical thinking skills. Students also gain a thorough introduction to the key principles of information systems and to the application of those principles.
This program provides students a proficiency in programming using a high-level language, as well as an understanding of data structures and the dynamic nature of the information systems field. Students are well prepared for entry-level positions requiring an associate-level credential.
