The Information Systems Program is designed to focus on the system and business aspects of computing. This program pairs especially well with a dual major in Business Administration.
Completion of the Information Systems Program prepares students to address the need for information and decision support. Students will develop a familiarity with business and accounting principles, as well as programming languages, data structures, security issues, and networking. Many Information System graduates go on to pursue careers in forensics, networking, design, and database management.
This program provides students with an understanding of the technology necessary to improve an organization’s competitive edge. Students will also develop a knowledge of ethical issues and responsibilities emerging from computing.
