Mansfield University offers an Associate of Applied Science degree in Environmental Technology as an entry point into environmentally-related careers. Many two-year students develop the academic skills and perseverance to transfer to and graduate from the four-year baccalaureate program in Geosciences or Safety Management.
The Associate of Applied Science Program in Environmental Technology is designed for students to explore environmental problem solving through experiential learning. Courses feature both lab and field components. Students interested in focusing on workplace safety may choose the optional Safety Management concentration.
Completion of the Environmental Technology Program prepares students for environmental procedures such as sampling, assessment, design, determining results, recording, and analysis.
This program provides students with a hands-on, field-based approach to environmental remediation.
