This position is a vital part of assisting new students in their transition to Mansfield University.

Spring recruitment is open,  if you're interested in becoming a leader:

  • Understand the qualifications - Students much have the following qualifications and skills to become an Orientation Leader: you must be a current MU student, possess excellent verbal skills, ability to interact professionally with peers, faculty, staff, and parents, excellent organizational skills, a working knowledge of word processing: spread sheet, data bases and email/scheduling programs, basic knowledge campus involvement, basic knowledge of MU history

  • June 15-16
  • June 22-23

  • August 4


  • Application process:
    • Understand the qualifications and employment dates
    • Complete an Orientation Leader application
      • Application deadline:  February 16, 2018 (For the Spring/Summer Orientation sessions)
    • Complete a personal interview

Haleigh Carlson 


My name is Haleigh Carlson, I'm a freshman and I study Environmental Science with a minor in Pre-law. On campus, I'm an active member of a sorority and this is my first year being an orientation leader! 



Brooke Cervoni



My name is Brooke Cervoni. I am a junior here at Mansfield. I am a Psychology major with a concentration in Forensics. This is my second year as an Orientation Leader. Other than that I am currently a Resident Assistant in Oak Hall as well as I am Historian Chair in a sorority here on campus. 



Justine Colegrove



My name is Justine Colegrove. I'm a junior Business Marketing major. I'm the Vice President of a sorority on campus. I am also the Vice President of Member Development and Chapter Relations for Mansfield's Panhellenic Council. I also work on campus with athlete study tables as well as in the counseling center.
