Summary of Events
At some time between approximately 7 PM on 9-30-2013 and 6 PM on 10-3-2013, a survival type knife valued at approximately $30 was stolen out of a Mansfield University student's vehicle, a green Jeep Wrangler, either while parked at the T-2 parking lot or while in the Mansfield area. The knife is described as a Gerber brand, Bear Grylls model fixed blade knife, gray in color with the handle consisting of bright orange paracord. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Mansfield University Police at 570-662-4900.
Additionally, students are reminded that it is against campus policy to possess knives of this description on campus unless stored at the University Police Station. Please refer to the MU Police Services and Safety website for additional information regarding the MU weapons policy.
