About Me
Vasanth Iyer is a postdoctoral scholar affiliated wth AFRL, Sensor Directorate, Ohio, and his work was also funded by AFRL, Rome, NY. He obtained his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Florida International University. Iyer works in the domain of rare event mining in high-dimensional multiresolution and unreliable sensor data streams. In 2017 he collaborated with Sensor Directorae on "Deep Generative Models for Closed Loop Sensing". During 2014 as Postdoctoral Research Scientist he collaborated on distributed cloud (Microsoft Azure) for extracting fuzzy features and explicit rules from instance based learning that can be efficiently computed using “BigTable” parallel approach.
