First Year Experience (FYE)
- Five faculty members by and from the assembly; faculty members will be elected through the election process of the University Senate. They will be elected for three-year terms in three staggered "classes" of one two members each. No more than two members can be from the same department. A member may run and be elected to successive terms on the committee.
- Two voting members from the student body. One student member will be selected annually by the Student Government Association and the other student member will be selected by the current group of peer mentors serving the first-year seminar.
- Two ex-officio & non-voting representatives from Enrollment Services and Student Affairs respectively.
- First Year Experience coordinator will be an ex-officio and non-voting representative of the committee.
- Other university staff and faculty maybe be asked to attend meetings and participate in the committee's activities upon invitation by the committee.

These committees are not Senate Committees. Senate conducts the elections as a courtesy and maintains this list on its web page for information purposes. Per Fall 2018 Senate decision (cleared by APSCUF and voted upon at Senate), University Senate committees and the three professional committees (Promotion, Tenure, and Sabbatical) are governed by the University Senate Constitution except where the APSCUF contract is more specific.

Faculty Membership Rules: Faculty Membership Rules: Must be tenured; may not concurrently serve on another professional committee. Article 18.A.12 (Leaves of Absence, Sabbatical Leaves, p. 57) of the 2019-2023 APSCUF Collective Bargaining Agreement refers only to "A committee chosen by and from the FACULTY at each University shall receive applications for sabbatical leaves at a time and in a manner which it shall determine and announce." Following standard Senate standing committee practice, up to two members per department are allowed on the Sabbatical committee.
