The mission of the Department of University Communications and Marketing is to provide comprehensive service to all of our constituent groups. We will provide inclusive services in an efficient manner and we will promote the use of effective and cutting-edge marketing principles and innovative strategies connected to technology, dissemination (visibility), and analytics. Most importantly, the department will help to further the aims and purposes of Mansfield University as expressed by the University's mission, vision, strategic plan, and four core values: character, scholarship, culture, and service. Together, we will build an organization that thrives by attracting, developing, and retaining effective faculty and staff, engaged students, and University supporters.
The Department of University Communications and Marketing cultivates the creative vision for the University through graphic design, publishing, web, social media, photography, videography and media distribution. We strive to meet the demands of a constituency that finds, consumes and shares the University message through multiple formats.
