The Mansfield University Symphony Orchestra - Dr. Jeffrey R Jacobsen, Artistic Director and Conductor - will present the annual Student Solo Competition Winners Concert on Sunday, May 4 at 2:30 PM in Steadman Theater of the Butler Music Center. The performance will open with the Overture to Nabucco by Giuseppe Verdi. Nicholas Goldgranz will be featured on the Trumpet Concert by Haydn. This will be followed by "Kindertotenlieder" by Mahler performed by Deanna Yoder. Justin Stark will be the featured soloist on the Bruch Violin Concerto in G minor. Vivaldi's Piccolo Concerto will be played by Sarah Kois. The concert will close the graduate student Julia Federico performing the Clarinet Concerto by Aaron Copland. The performance is free and open to the public.
