Mansfield University and the Penn Wells Hotel are collaborating to present a dinner concert at the Historic Penn Wells Hotel, 62 Main Street, in Wellsboro, PA, on Thursday evening, December 7. The Chamber Singers will present a program of selections focused on “The Time of Snow” interspersed between dinner courses. Chef Dennis Klimko is preparing a five-course dinner!
Appetizer: Butternut Squash Ravioli with Garlic Sage Cream Sauce

The Mansfield University Chamber Singers is a select vocal ensemble of sixteen voices established for the study and performance of repertoire from the vocal chamber idiom. Their program, under the direction of Peggy Dettwiler, includes a setting of “The Time of Snow” by Bob Chilcott, the lovely Austrian carol, “Still, Still, Still,” an exciting text by Edgar Allan Poe, “The Bells,” and closes with a recessional on “Silent Night.”
Patrons may call the Penn Wells at 570-724-2111 for reservations. Seating begins at 6:15 pm. The cost for dinner and concert is $39 exclusive of drinks, tax, and tip. Enjoy a poignant evening of music and scrumptious food to bring joy and delight to your holiday season.
