Many of our students compete in a variety of CS-oriented contests. Recently we took second place in the PACISE Robotics Competion and in a previous year we took second place in the PACISE Programming Competition. We are usually in the top schools featured on the yearly IBM Master the Mainframe Contest t-shirts. We have been finalists in the yearly State Farm Coding Competition. And recently we started participating in a Networking and Security contest. These contests are a great way to gain new skills.
We created the following videos to help our CIS students get started with some of the development tools we will be working with in our courses. A good foundation with these tools will help with the competitions mentioned above. In addition, these skills will look great on your resume. Enjoy!
